I can just say excellent! The very new VIP minibus was Super. Our driver and tour guide was first class. This itinerary is perfect for seeing the best sites in the area. All arrangements were spot on and kept to schedule. Cannot find any fault and thoroughly recommend it.
After a very difficult group bus tour to Cairo, we decided to choose another operator (Luxor Private Tour) to book a private one-day tour to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. As it turned out, this was the best decision and an unforgettable experience for the whole trip to Egypt! We were picked up from a hotel in Hurghada at 5 am, from where we were brought to Luxor in 4 and a half hours. The road was very pleasant and comfortable, full of impressions: first, we drove through the desert, and then the Nile Valley, where you could see the local flavor and life of the locals. In Luxor itself, we were greeted by a very professional and classy guide, who showed us the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Amazing Tombs of Tutankhamun, Ramses 3, Merenptah, and other pharaohs. We also visited a workshop where they make quality stone souvenirs where they bought a lot. Next, we had a very tasty lunch on a boat and crossing the Nile to visit the incredible Karnak Temple on the east bank. We left Luxor for Hurghada at 17:20, and at 21:50 we were already in Hurghada where we had time for dinner at the hotel. I want to thank the best driver Mohammed Ali who did everything to bring us in time and comfortably – an extremely nice and kind person! In general, the whole organization was at the highest level, so I recommend Luxor Private Tour to all couples and families with children who prefer comfort!
Not to be missed, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English and explained everything in great detail, also our driver was very friendly and made the long trip most enjoyable. All in all a great experience
Fantastic tour – seeing 3 of the tombs at the Valley of the Kings as well as Hatshepsut Temple but the absolute highlight was Karnak Temple – just unfortunate we couldn’t spend longer at Karnak. Our guide, Mohammad, was fantastic, so knowledgeable and great at answering all of our questions, even from the kids. Food for lunch was average. The only drawback was the driving – our drivers travelled at 130km/hr for much of the trip and tailgated so much and also used their mobile phones while driving – certainly didn’t feel safe – and they didn’t really adjust when we asked them to slow down and not follow so closely.
We had a fantastic day exploring ancient Luxor temples, tombs, and the surroundings. Service was top notch including hotel pickup up until drop-off. Brand-new Toyota van, both drivers know what they are doing, I wouldn’t try to drive there myself??. Our guide for the day – Mohamed is very knowledgeable and trustful. 5 plus from me!
