We enjoyed this 5 day 4 nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. You can taste the Egyptian culture along the river cruise! Ashrafis was a nice guide, he treated us to drinks along our journey. Always cheerful and explain the history of Egypt on a spot of historical sites. An extra favor he helped, finding us an adapter for charging our phones! Really appreciate that! Tickets for the attractions are not included, the price of the ticket is cheap, and tipping is required for some transportation. The basic ticket of the Valley of the Kings can visit 3 tombs, you can buy extra tickets for special ones. We know that when we exit, so check it out if you want to know more.
Amazing places and the tour guide (hany agamy) ( ashraf bory the tour operator) had excellent knowledge and very nice explanation, I found it really useful and interesting with amazing places that I really recommend to visit, the company is really good and very friendly and nice, they speak all languages that would be easy for everyone to communicate with. Definitely would not be the last time.
Amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Amazing boat with good food, great staff, nice sundeck, and spacious room with a great view. The experience was greatly enhanced by our amazing guide, Ahmed. His English was very good, making it very easy to understand and enjoy the temples, tombs, and their stories. He even bought us breakfast when we accidentally woke up late and missed breakfast. We highly recommend him and Luxor private tour company
Very Good! The Luxor Private Tour. -Clear, timely communication -they use nice cars for transport -drivers nice and timely -cruise/tour program was great -guide…we were lucky to get a personality we liked. I observed many others and have had others but for this duration, we were very pleased to get one matching our chemistry. -Cruise was great; food, service, and cabin -cruise food: menus predominantly western-style were very good however need a greater percentage of Egyptian/ Middle Eastern selections on a daily basis. Demand is evident on the ‘Oriental Dinner Night” where everyone is extremely excited about the menu. I say, 30% of the menu items were Egyptian it would benefit guest experience and lower food costs for the operator. -I am a consultant for Asia-Pacific hospitality based in Tokyo
Thank Luxor Private Tour
Luxor Private Tour is an outstanding company! My cousin and I, two females in our 20s-30s, traveled to Egypt on our own. Upon arrival in Cairo, we were greeted by a Luxor Private Tour representative immediately after exiting the plane and were accompanied everywhere we went that.
We always felt safe and well taken care of. The guide who was with us for the majority of our trip, Ahmed Hussin, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Not only he is an encyclopedia of Egyptian history and knowledge, but he is also just a wonderful person. He made sure we weren’t hassled and got the best deals on various items we wanted to purchase (be sure to visit the Perfume shop in Aswan – so interesting!). He made sure we sampled local fare and met local people to get a real taste of Egyptian culture (the Egyptian bread is delish and we had the best falafel we’ve ever had near the Valley of the Kings). Before we visited sites, he would provide a lecture on the significance of the site and all of the relevant history. He even gave us handouts that made things easy to remember! He very patiently answered our questions (as a former history major, I had many), especially when he had to repeat himself because we were overwhelmed (in a good way) by everything we were seeing and learning. Truly, he is a diamond in the ruff.
From the first time I emailed Ahmed to obtain information about a possible itinerary, he was responsive and incredibly patient with my 100 questions. I was lucky to meet him when our time overlapped in Luxor and was grateful for the opportunity to thank him in person. He is an outstanding and professional tour Guide and constantly checked in to make sure everything was going well on our trip.
Thank you for a wonderful experience and I hope to return with my husband someday!
