Itinerary

Day 1Drive to Alamein & Siwa Tour

  • Meet the tour guide early in the morning from the lodge in Cairo and then transfer to Alamein, which is approximately a three-hour drive. 
  • Reach Alamein, witness the location where the long combat of World War II took place, survey the WW II Graveyard and Archive Repository. 
  • Continue to the majestic cove of Marsa Matrouh, located on the coast of the Mediterranean.
  • Take a six-hour drive from Alamein to Siwa. 

Spend the night in Siwa 

Day 2Full-day in Siwa

  • After the morning meal, visit the historic places and the chronic ones – like the Darker Mountain and the Oracle Temple of Alexander the Great.
  • Head to the Castle of Shale, which is the oldest castle in Siwa.
  • Stroll and shop in the streets and the market at night.

Day 3Drive to Siwa Desert and Bir Wahid

  • After morning brunch, begin the tour in Maraki Town and Siwa Desert. 
  • Pass through the desert to end up at one of the majestic mountains of Siwa. 
  • Carry on the Siwa Safari trip amidst the hills, and reach the reefs decorated with rocky corals preserved from the Cambrian age. 
  • Drive to Bir Wahid, the hot spring to have a sense of calm and serenity and dive into the waters.

Day 4Drive to Siwan & Abu Sherouf

  • Take an early meal in the lodge, and then leave for the mausoleums surrounded by the hills of Gabal El Marta. 
  • Learn about fascinating tombs like the Crocodile Tomb, SI Amon, and MSW Isis. 
  • Continue to the Dakrour hills, then travel to one of the villages in Siwan, Abu Sherouf, to relish the Roman Spring eye and Bedouin fashion.

Day 5Return To Cairo

Rejuvenate from the morning meal and travel back to your Cairo inn.
